The course covers for example following themes: Economic, environmental and social responsibility of businesses, business ethics theories, the stakeholder theory and other current topics of responsible business.

Osaamistavoitteet

The student understands the relationship between business law and business ethics. The student learns to understand and evaluate ethical questions related to responsible business. The student can critically evaluate the role of businesses in the global business environment.

Written assignment and presentation at the class room (individually or group). Further information in Moodle.

Opetus

Lectures 2 h and other modes of study (f.e. company visits) 8 h will be during intensive teaching week (period I). Lectures 6 h and classroom exercises (presentations) 6 h will be held during period II. Independent work with the presentation and assignment 113 h. **Autumn semester 2020, period I intensive lectures - period II (26 October - 6 December 2020)** The course in arranged as integrated into degree studies and lectures take place during the day (Mon-Fri, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m).
