Learning outcomes

The aim of this course is to expose students to realistic biological and medical questions, taken from daily laboratory practice. This course provides the students with the necessary background, tools and know-how concerning suitable methods to solve problems using molecular biology, and (later) in their own research.

General description

This course covers many of the classical and modern techniques that are useful to understand the molecular basis for a spectrum of diseases. Our topics will range from molecular biology tools to cell-based and animal models. This course will also include demonstrations, problem-based learning techniques as well as student presentations
