Learning outcomes

The course introduces a landsystem approach to studies of former glaciated terrain and related ice sheet dynamics, having a focus on glacial geomorphology of Finland. The main objective is to provide a holistic view of terrain evaluation by linkind LiDAR-based geomorphology, subsurface geologial characteristics and process-landform studies. Understanding of glacial sedimentary environments and processes are emphasized.
