Learning outcomes

Student becomes familiar with the research in the disciplines of food chemistry and food development by listening to presentations. Student deepens the current knowledge, and gets new insights into molecular food sciences. In the seminar sessions it’s also possible to discuss and create contacts with food scientists.


Presentations given by other students, PhD candidates and researches. Topics are related to key areas of food chemistry and food development such as the chemistry and biochemistry of lipids, the chemistry and function of the secondary metabolites of berries, the chemistry of flavors and sensory science. Seminars are also given by visiting scientists.
