Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to deepen students' knowledge on the application of the financial theory on practical situation. Moreover, the course aims to teach students how to use Excel to solve financial questions and to build financial models.

Contents

Building models with Excel for corporate finance, investment analysis, bond and stock pricing, portfolio management, derivatives and simulation. Basics of Excel´s Visual Basic for Applications macro language.

Numeric 0-5.
60% of the grade will be based on the home assignments and 40% of the grade will be based on the final project.
