Learning outcomes

Along with the paradigm change from industrialized to service economies, it has become crucial to understand how services surround us and what are the opportunities. 'Service as a Software', 'Service Design', 'Service Marketing' are buzz words one hears in an increasing manner. The objective of the course is that the students understand the meaning of services in today's world and how to monetize services. The course will emphasize online services to large extent. As the ever-evolving web reflects what we do as society, the knowledge on how to operate in online service industry is crucial whether your aim is to become an entrepreneur or economist.
