Learning outcomes

By the end of the course students will be able to:
- appreciate the diverse needs of managerial communication
- produce appropriate language in a range of managerial contexts
- prepare and produce effective presentations providing good visual material
- respond to questions and contribute to decision making discussions
- show improved knowledge of interpersonal communication

The students are provided with the technical skills needed to produce effective managerial communication
Interviews, speeches, introducing and thanking speakers, listening, and contributing to group decision-making, Working in teams, Coaching employees, running meetings, listening, and contributing to group decision-making.
Presentations; formulating a strategy for a special audience, developing an appropriate structure and presentation style, supplementing presentations with informed responses to questions, preparing slides and other material for a business presentation.
The focus during the course is on practicing oral skills.
