Learning outcomes

After this course the students will understand the process nature of entrepreneurship. The students will understand the various processes linked with opportunity creation and development (i.e., discovery, creation, evaluation, iteration, development, planning, and exploitation). The students know how to apply general business competencies in opportunity processes.
After successful completion of this course, students are able to develop ideas into opportunities individually and in groups. Their willingness to engage in creative work is improved. Students will demonstrate good presentation skills. They will be able to communicate their ideas and convince others of the feasibility of their business ideas.

Contents

The course comprises weekly lectures and exercises. The students are expected to prepare for class by reading articles and discussing them in virtual environment. In between lectures the students also work on individual assignments, which are discussed during the lectures. As group work, the students prepare and deliver a lecture on how to develop a section of a business plan.

Attendance is restricted to 30 students. In case of excess demand, TSE students majoring in Entrepreneurship have priority over others.
