Learning outcomes

Prepares the student for working in software projects, to act as a project leader and to improve the practical organisation of software engineering in a company.

Contents

The course focuses on project work, software processes and methods. A special emphasis is put on utilizing agile and lean methods, and how they are used in today’s industrial context. The course also considers project management by focusing on the special characteristics of software projects. The course also gives an oversight on relevant software process improvement standards, such as CMMI. The course uses practice-oriented learning methods.
