Organised by
Information and Communication Technology

Learning outcomes

Students gain ability to create transaction level models for parallel systems using high-level modeling languages. They will understand the concept and purpose of abstraction in modelling parallel systems at a high abstraction level, and the principles and techniques of transaction level modeling (TLM). Furthermore, students gain ability to create formal models for distributed and parallel software systems
and analyse these models.

Contents

The course goes into the various concepts of a system level object-oriented modelling. The emphasis in the course is in the transaction level modelling. The transaction level modelling is also used in the design abstraction and modelling of parallel systems in a formal framework.
