Learning outcomes

The objective of the course is to introduce students to the basic economic structures present in society and to assess them from a sociological perspective. Upon completion of the course, the students should be able to identify the relationships between different social structures and economic actors within the societal context, as well as understand the potential socio-cultural and technological implications on economic actors.

Contents

Students will be introduced to basic concepts of economic sociology and their relationship with social sciences and business studies. Particular attention will be given to current societal phenomena, both local and global.
