Learning outcomes

The course introduces a student with the key concepts, frameworks and perspectives through which to understand managing and strategizing in business networks. After completing the course, a student has advanced knowledge on the network view of business markets, networking as a strategic activity and special insight on both the prerequisites and the means of implementing strategic initiatives in a real life business context.

Contents

The course starts with a pre-exam followed by four intensive 4h workshops. The workshops focus on specific topic areas with regard to strategizing in business networks, for instance, developing innovations and maintaining ethical exchange. The workshops include individually conducted pre- and post-assignments and team assignments during the workshops. In order to complete the course the attendance on and active participation during the workshops is necessary.
