Learning outcomes

After the course, the students have an understanding of the themes of responsible business and master the relevant related concepts. Based on the introductory course, students can deepen their knowledge in other courses of Studies on Responsible Business (25 ECTS).

Contents

The focus of the course is on topical issues related to responsible business and related basic concepts. These include, among others, sustainable development, fair trade, environmental management, cross-sector partnerships, stakeholder engagement, social entrepreneurship, microfinance, and tax planning. The course consists partly of guest lectures. In the exercise, students tackle a responsible business issue with the help of a case.
