Learning outcomes

In this course the students explore how the field of entrepreneurship studies has developed and familiarize themselves with some current research trends. After successful completion of the course the students will be able to define and explore the major theoretical schools of the entrepreneurial process. The students will be able to identify key research themes and topics for further inquiry. After the course students are better equipped to commence with the Master's thesis project.
The students will also have strengthened their oral and written presentation skills after completing the course.


Key component of the course is the reading and analysis of scientific research papers. The course comprises weekly seminar sessions with interactive discussions. The students are expected to prepare for class in order to be able to discuss the research papers during the seminars.

Further information

The course is intended for students with Entrepreneurship major and who have already completed their Bachelor's studies in Entrepreneurship. The course will be organised if a minimum of six students will register for the course.
The pre-assignment must be submitted at the beginning of the first class. Failure to submit on schedule will mean that a student will not be allowed to take the course. Details of assignment will be provided separately after registration.
