Learning outcomes

After attending the course students have learned about how businesses create value. Students will be able to understand and explain the process of value creation, especially the value customers gain, the value firms gain and how the value is exchanged between firms and customers. The course is relevant to those students who are interested in learning about the core commonalities between entrepreneurship, marketing and strategic management.

Contents

This online course takes an integrative approach to business functions of the firm to create value. During the course students will examine how successful firms balance between exploiting their current strengths and exploring new opportunities for the future. This enables students to develop skills to understand the role of entrepreneurial behavior in any organisations success. The course covers the topics of entrepreneurial mindset and innovative culture of an organisation, strategic management of resources and value co-creation through marketing.

The readings will be provided by the lecturers together with students at the beginning of the course.

Further information

Attendance is restricted to 20 students. In case of excess demand, TSE students majoring in Entrepreneurship have priority over others.
