General description

A course on managing business intelligence process from a managerial perspective.

Learning outcomes

Students will learn how to observe the global business environment, and how to acquire such information from secondary sources for the purposes of managerial decision-making. The course will foster a number of behavioral learning outcomes; research and inquiry skills, information literacy and critical stance to information sources, personal and intellectual autonomy, leadership and team work capabilities through the group work assignment, and the ability to enhance and practice various means of communication including presentation skills.

Contents

The course develops a systemic understanding of the data collection on global business environment by applying a strategic mindset and the principles of business intelligence. During the course students will work in groups on challenges that enforce their learning.
