Learning outcomes

The main objective of this course is to develop a robust understanding of entrepreneurship as a multidisciplinary research field. After attending this course the student understands the theoretical framework of entrepreneurship research from psychological, sociological, and economical perspectives. The course will deepen the understanding of the effects of and motives for acting entrepreneurially on individual, organisational and societal level. The student will also practice research, project management and presentation skills during this course.


The course comprises of weekly seminar sessions. The students are expected to prepare for class by reading selected articles. In weekly seminar sessions articles will be discussed. The students are expected to write a learning diary based on selected readings and seminar sessions.

Further information

Attendance is restricted to 20 students. In case of excess demand, TSE students majoring in Entrepreneurship have priority over others. The course will be organised if a minimum of six students will register.
