Learning outcomes

By the end of the course students will be able to:
- appreciate the diverse needs of managerial communication
- produce appropriate language in a range of managerial contexts
- be able to express opinions and deal with conflict situations
- respond to questions and contribute to decision making discussions
- show improved knowledge of interpersonal communication


The students will be provided with the technical skills needed to produce effective managerial communication such as: Interviews, assessments, speeches, introducing and thanking speakers, listening, and contributing to group decision-making, working in teams, coaching employees, running meetings, listening, and contributing to group decision-making. These skills will be practiced through preparing scenarios and role playing exercises - audio / video recordings will be made as appropriate.
