Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students are able to describe the economic state and business development in the Baltic Sea Region and to independently analyse business opportunities in the region.

Contents

During the course, students will learn of the intensification of the economic relations between the countries within Baltic Sea Region. Special emphasis will be given to the eastern rim of the region and bordering areas, such as Belarus, will also be discussed. In addition to lectures, the course contains a large analytical course work on a given case topic.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 0-5.
The final grade of the course is based on the exam (40%), the course work (40%), and the regular and active participation in the lectures (20%). It is obligatory to attend at least 1/2 of the lectures, including the final course work presentation lecture.
