Learning outcomes

After completing the course the student should be able to describe the changes in major Asian economies, have basic knowledge of how to do business in Asian cultures and to collect and analyze information about Asian economies.

Contents

The course introduces the economic, political, and social forces that are shaping business in the Asia-Pacific region to the student. Taking a broadly interdisciplinary approach, the overall dynamics of international competition and cooperation in Asia-Pacific, as well as the distinctive features of business systems in various countries in the region are discussed.
