Learning outcomes

Students will be able to describe and analyse the political, economic and social transformation of Japan during the decades following World War II. In political and economic issues the focus is both on national and international context.

Contents

Thematic modules consist of the following: national and international politics, Japan in international economics, the national identity, educational policy, and social system of Japan.
