Learning outcomes

Deeper understanding of basic quantum mechanics and knowledge about information theory, including the basics of quantum communication and quantum computing.

Contents

Quantum bit (qubit). Axioms of quantum mechanics and Dirac formulation. Basics of classical information theory and the quantum counterparts. Quantum computing with quantum computers, and basics of experimental realization.
