Learning outcomes

The students will learn to know the central part of the primary field evidence on which the interpretation of the Quaternary glacial history of Eastern Fennoscandia is based on. They will also learn to critically use primary research literature.


Preparation for the field course by reading central research papers of Scandinavian Quaternary geology. A one-week field course with visits to key sections described in the research papers. Practicals in field documentation. Closing and reporting seminar of the findings during the course.
