Learning outcomes

The goal of the Master’s project is to educate the student to analyse and evaluate the use of existing information systems used in private or public organisations.


Students enter the collaborating organisations in groups. Students are given introduction to WI project work methods, and after that the group performs the data gathering, analysis and evaluation phases, and produces a written document. Project ends with a presentation of the results to the customer organization. The collaborating organisations are supposed to get concrete benefit from the project.

Teaching methods

The students are working in groups of two. The work is supervised by a project manager and the group reports their progress to the supervisors.
