Learning outcomes

After completing the course the students should be able to (1) describe the main contemporary trends in international business, (2) explain how and why firms engage in international operations, (3) describe how and why countries differ from the international business perspective and explain what kind of questions this raises from a company perspective, and (4) describe interaction between international companies in the global economy.

Contents

The course acquaints students with the key concepts and phenomena of international business and provides an overview of the topic.

Restricted attendance! The course is available only for Master's Degree Programme students who cannot participate in the KVY course held in Finnish.
