Learning outcomes

The objectives of this course are i) to gain conception of entrepreneurship as a research subject shared by several scientific disciplines and ii) to develop critical understanding of the nature and limits of key scientific approaches to phenomena associated with entrepreneurship. The student will learn skills of analytic reading, critical argumentation, illustrative presentation and clear academic writing.

Contents

The course comprises of weekly seminar sessions. The students are expected to prepare for class by reading selected articles. In weekly seminar sessions articles will be discussed. The students are expected to write a learning diary based on selected readings and seminar sessions

1. Active participation weights 30% in a final mark.
2. Learning diary weights 30% in a final mark.The students are expected to write a learning diary based on selected readings, own reflection and questions provided by the teachers.

Further information

Attendance is restricted to 20 students. In case of excess demand, TSE students majoring in Entrepreneurship have priority over others. The course will be organised if a minimum of six students will register.
