Learning outcomes

After the course, the student has participated in scientific seminars and events. These events may include e.g. guest lectures, open research seminars or public examinations. The student has trained him/herself in following legal discussion and professional presentations and expanded his/her view of what legal research and its dimensions might be. Additionally, the student has practiced the written reporting of seminars and legal issues discussed and learned in the form of a learning journal.

Contents

The student will participate independently in legal guest lectures, public examinations and various open seminars and will write a learning journal on the events as instructed. The student will first participate in a seminar, public examination or a guest lecture. More detailed information on the acceptable contents of the journal etc. are available to all on moodle. The attainments are submitted in different folders so that the other students will not be able to see them.
For example, participation and a passed journal on one guest lecture or public examination counts as 0.5 ECTS (for examples of typical credit accumulations, see the course on moodle). When the student wishes to register the attainment in the study record, he/she will contact the person in charge of the course. The attainment may be registered once only. The amount of attained credits may be 2, 3, 4 or 5 ECTS.
