Learning outcomes

At the end of the course students
- will have developed competences for discovering, interpreting and communicating hidden cultural meanings in a SIL
- will have become aware of their taken-for-granted cultural assumptions and misinterpretation of others
- will understand the relationship between communication and leadership norms in multicultural teams
- will be better prepared for degree-related intercultural research and post-degree intercultural work

The course includes both theoretical knowledge and practical exercises for improving the participants' competence to participate in intercultural business team building. The students create teams, write reflective essays related to the exercises and reading required during the course, and they also write a final reflective essay about their learning experience at the end of the course.
