Learning outcomes

During the course the students will attain and further develop the theoretical and methodological skills required for the successful completion of their Master's thesis. They will gain an understanding of the requirements of a serious scholarly research process and become thoroughly acquainted with the theoretical background and methodological approaches in the field of study they have chosen for their Master's theses.


: Course will familiarize the students with more advanced theoretical approaches and methodologies in the disciplines represented in the program (international relations, human geography, history, and cultural studies). They read thematic, theoretical and methodological literature related to their individual thesis topics and write essays.
