Learning outcomes

The students can prepare and give a presentation on a scientific topic in English and know how to discuss scientific findings, particularly in bioinformatics. The students know how to take into account the background of the audience. The students have learnt about recent discoveries in bioinformatics and about how bioinformatics methods have been applied and/or proven useful in scientific studies.


A series of presentations is given by the students on recent journal articles in bioinformatics. The articles are selected based on their focus on bioinformatics, use of bioinformatics methods, and/or discussion about discoveries relevant to bioinformatics.
