ASBI0005 International summer school of astrobiology 4 ECTS
Organised by
Person in charge
Organizing institute/consortium. Locally responsible persons Kirsi Lehto (Biochemistry) and Harry Lehto (Physics and Astronomy).

General description

International summer and winter schools are regularly offered by several European astrobiology educators, and they each are focused on different astrobiological topics and fields. You can find accurate and up-to-date information, with tittles, schedules and registration dead-lines in the web pages
The entrance to each school is typically dependent on application, and only a limited number of participant places are provided either for Finnish students, or particularly to Turku University students (the European campus in astrobiology ERASMUS-programme). Participation is typically free of charge, or at least strongly economically assisted, for the selected students. The duration of the schools is variable, typically 1-2 weeks. Credit points are provided according to the school duration and contents.
