Learning outcomes

The student in familiar with the formalism of general Lagrangian field theory,
quantised free fields and perturbation theory of fields. The student is able to evaluate simple Feynman diagrams and knows their connection to Green's functions and physical processes.
Contents: Conserved currents, spinors, gauge field theories and the standard model of particle physics. Quantised free fields, Feynman diagrams, regularization and renormalization.
