Learning outcomes

Students get insights how theory in petrology and structural geology is applied in field work. The field area (Åland archipelago) consists of a multitude of rocks formed 1900-1575 million years ago.


Field excursions and mapping exercises in small groups; compilation of geological maps, supporting graphs (Stereograms and cross-sections) and reports from own field data.
