Learning outcomes

The student has a basic understanding of the key concepts and techniques of laboratory diagnostics as well as the most elementary methods of molecular biotechnology facilitating the diagnostic research.

Contents

The course will give an introduction to the principles of the most common bioaffinity assays as well as the enabling technologies, such as label and solid phase techniques, behind these assays. The other topics of relevance include the methods of molecular biotechnology employed in assay methods and used to produce advanced reagents for them.
