Learning outcomes

The main goal of the study module is that students write a research plan, conduct actual research at laboratory, analyze results obtained and demonstrate their ability to interpret results and write a report in a form of scientific article. Furthermore, as a built-in module of practising scientific communication, students present their results in seminars and write a press release in order to simulate collaboration of between the academia and media.

DRUG0015 Master's thesis research report (20 ECTS): Taking part to the writing a research plan seminar series, writing of the research plan (5 pages) and defending it in pro seminar, writing the thesis in research article format (30 pages), submitting own thesis to peer review and reviewing of a fellow student's written report, giving an oral presentation in the thesis seminar and actively participate to the thesis seminar and act as an opponent, writing a press release, Self-assessment of the written report and arranging the feedback session with the examiner
