Learning outcomes

After the course the student has better abilities to solve methodological problems typically encountered with liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry and bioactivity measurement.


The course starts by looking at the basic structures of LC and MS equipment and well-plate readers, followed by disassembling and maintenance operations of the instruments. Each student will solve methodological problems related to LC, MS or well-plate techniques by independent lab work. These tasks are related to the most common problems related to these instruments and to the method development that is compulsory when introducing new methods into the lab.
