Learning outcomes

The course aims at deepening students’ knowledge about sociological perspectives on housing, communities and localities. After completing the course, the students will have a more profound understanding of the central features and critical aspects of sociological research on housing, communities and localities.

Contents

Students will be introduced to a given special field in sociology (communities and localities) by examining relevant literature on the field.

Book exam consists of essay questions. The student is expected to write an outlined answer based on the reading materials. The questions will commonly relate to a particular chapter, or a key theme or concept, in the reading materials.
