Learning outcomes

After this course, the student is able to follow scientific or technical presentations of topics related to their major subject and write a report from the main points of the presentation. In addition, the student can make and present a talk on professional/research literature or research work, and gains experience in critical and rational discussion of professional topics.

Contents

Attendance in the local seminar series in relevant fields. Reading, evaluation and presentation of recent scientific articles or research work.

Active attendance at seminars and writing reports. Student reads scientific articles and makes an oral presentation. All students will participate in discussion on the content and methods used in the article. Students must attend 12 research seminars and write a minimum 350 word summary of three seminar presentations.

1st and 2nd year of Master's degree studies. First lecture will be held 1st year autumn, students will participate in the seminars during 1st year and 2nd year autumn and will give a seminar presentation during the 2nd year.
