Learning outcomes

The student understands the functions of research group: She/he gets knowledge, how to design and carry out the daily practical work program, how to keep daily laboratory book and how to discuss and report the scientific data with the team members. She/he also learns research methods and laboratory safety issues during the project.

Contents

A student carries out a four-week supervised research project by attending the planning of the experimental part of the project, by familiarizing the research techniques and conducting the laboratory work. She/he also attends the weekly meetings of research project. Two training projects are carried out in different research groups and the topics of the training must be different than the topic of the thesis research project.
