BIOI4280 Algorithms in Bioinformatics 5 ECTS

Learning outcomes

Students learn how most common and important algorithms used in bioinformatics research work, including some laboratory methods and clustering algorithms used in phylogenetics.

Contents

Algorithms in this course are for instance sequence assembly, pairwise global and local alignment, multiple sequence alignment methods, similarity based sequence database searches protein and RNA structure predictions.
