Further information

Course consists of common lectures (see schedule above) and working in project teams.

The first lectures present project topics and overall guidelines for work. After presentations, course participants apply for the project topics matching their interest and skills. 4-5 different topics will be provided, and a team will be formed for each topic.  Maximum of 30 students from programs in Department of Future Technologies are accepted on the course.  A second instance of the course will be provided starting later with academic year 2107-2018.

 

The potential topics include:

-        a service utilizing IBM AI technologies (“Watson”)

-        health technology application

-        smart bus stop –concept

-        game platform development

-        other to follow later…

 

The work on project topics starts when teams are formed.  Each team agrees its working schedule within the team.  Common sessions target general aspects of project work at different phases of the project.  Teams will present a project status review during these lectures.

Course has a Moodle site (IT-Capstone_2017_2) for general information.  Details for access are provided on the first lecture.

Participation in all common sessions is mandatory.

Prerequirement:  B.Sc Degree completed
