Learning outcomes

On this course students gain knowledge of the cultural processes affecting the cross-border areas in the wider Baltic Sea region from the viewpoint of border and ethnological studies with a focus on micro-level analysis of borders and culture. In addition, students gain experience of applying fieldwork methods as means for further deepening their understanding of the relations between diverse borders and people’s everyday lives in the region.

General description

The lectures will start on March 17th. The course includes a pre-exam and a 2 days excursion. More information will be given to those, who register for the course.
