Learning outcomes

The objective of the Master's degree programme in Learning, Learning Environments and Educational Systems is to train experts and researchers for various national and international tasks in the field of Education. The programme concentrates on the focus points of the research conducted at the Faculty of Education: learning research, learning environments and educational systems from a comparative perspective.

Content

The degree of Master of Arts in Education in the Master's degree programme in Learning, Learning Environments and Educational Systems includes the following study modules:
- Orientation and General Studies 20 ECTS credits
- Advanced Studies in the Major Subject (Educational Science) 80 ECTS credits
- Elective Studies 20 ECTS credits

Further information

Students who have started their studies in the autumn semester 2012 or 2013 follow this degree structure:
- Orientation and General Studies 20 ECTS credits
- Advanced Studies in the Major Subject (Educational Science, Adult Education or Special Education) 90 ECTS credits
- Elective Studies 10 ECTS credits

Students who have started their studies in the autumn semester 2010 or 2011 follow this degree structure:
- Orientation and General Studies 18 ECTS credits
- Advanced Studies in the Major Subject (Educational Science, Adult Education or Special Education) 80 ECTS credits
- Elective Studies 22 ECTS credits

Students who have started their studies before the autumn semester 2010 follow this degree structure:
- Orientation and General Studies 10 ECTS credits
- Advanced Studies in the Major Subject (Educational Science, Adult Education or Special Education) 80 ECTS credits
- Elective Studies 30 ECTS credits

Students who have started their studies before the autumn semester 2009 are not required to study the ORI3 Scientific Writing 4 ECTS credits and the ORI4 Introduction to Empirical Data Collection and Analysis 4 ECTS credits.
